Complications increase when they rescue a thief, learn about a missing woman and meet a blood shaman, an enemy of their country. They need to track down the outlaws and find the missing woman before the rainy season starts and wipes away all the clues. The family secrets are another matter altogether and Rosie has no idea what to do about them.

Rosie doubts her ability to find a submersible they’ve been hired to locate, even with the help of her companions. After all, how can anyone track across the water? She quickly learns the submersible isn’t all that is missing and ends up searching for a girl, a murderer and trying to unravel the mystery surrounding an engraved bracelet. Rosie needs to complete the job they were hired for, find answers and locate a dangerous war mech or risk cities being annihilated when someone seeks vengeance for the past.
